POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Registration:

  • There will be a $30, non-refundable registration fee per student.

  • Please provide us with an e-mail address, so we may contact you with pertinent information.

  • Please inform us if your child has any allergies or special needs, such as a physical or learning disabilities.

Tuition:

  • Tuition is due the first class of each month.

  • It is required that we have a credit card on file for automatic payment.

  • You can choose for it to be run the 1st of the month or the 15th of the month.

  • If you choose another form of payment, it must be paid before the 15th, or we will run the credit card on file for tuition.

  • Tuition is a yearly fee that we allow to be broken down into ten monthly payments or can be paid in full, CASH ONLY, by 9/30/24 for 10% off ENTIRE TUITION.

  • If your account is delinquent for more than a month, your child will be unable to participate in class until the account is paid up to date.

  • There will be a $10 late charge applied to your account for tuition and costume payments made after the 15th of each month.

  • There is a $30 fee for returned checks.

  • May and June Tuition are due by 5/15

Waivers:

  • By signing the registration form, you understand that:

  • LIDF is not responsible for any injuries that may occur during dance class.

  • LIDF is not responsible for the possible exposure to COVID-19.

Unlimited Class Package:

  • The unlimited class package is specially designed to provide a financial advantage for the student enrolled in multiple group classes. Private lessons not included.

  • All students enrolled in 5 or more classes are eligible for the Unlimited Class Package.

Make-Up Classes:

  • There are no refunds for classes that are missed (ie sick, vacation or inclement weather); however, make-up classes are available for all students for up to one month from that missed class. Please ask the receptionist for a comparable class available.

Costumes:

  • Costume Balances ($85 per costume) are due by 11/1/24. Costumes will not be ordered without payment.

  • Costumes will not be given to your child until outstanding balances are paid and up-to date.

  • You are not required to participate in the recital, however if you commit to the recital, you are obligated to adhere to the recital rules.

Competition Students:

  • Costumes are $100 per costume.

  • If there is an additional balance on your costume, balances are due by 2/1.

  • Costume payments will be rolled into your yearly tuition.

  • Competition Fees will be rolled into your yearly tuition.

Dress Code:

  • Move With Me

    • Comfortable clothing, Socks

  • 2 yr. Old Creative Movement:

    • Leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes.

  • All Combo Classes:

    • Leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes.

  • Ballet:

    • Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.

    • Hair in bun.

    • Ballet skirts, legwarmers and warm-ups.

  • Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern:

    • Leotard with footless or convertible tights with shorts.

    • Footwear; Hip Hop: black hip hop sneakers, Tap: black tap shoes, Jazz: black jazz shoes, Lyrical: tan half soles Modern: barefoot

  • Boys:

    • White T-Shirt, black dance shorts or dance pants and appropriate footwear.

  • Cheer Dance:

    • Leotard, No Tights, Bike Shorts, Kaeppa or Nike white cheerleading sneakers

  • Acro:

    • Leotard, bike shorts, No Tights, No shoes

  • Competition Classes:

    • All black dance clothes. Must be form fitting: black tank top, sports bra, leotard, shorts, leggings etc.

*HAIR MUST BE WORN IN A BUN OR PONYTAIL AT ALL TIMES!*
